Autumn invites us to release, soften, and turn inward. And yet, as the days grow darker, the pace of the world around us often seems to quicken—pulling us toward the holidays, fuller schedules, and more doing.
Her Nature, a daylong women’s medicine retreat, is an invitation to slow down, soften, and soothe in the company of other women. A day to nourish yourself deeply, luxuriate in feminine community, and reconnect with the natural wisdom within; that of your true nature.
Together, we’ll explore the wisdom of cycles—within the body, creativity, nature, and our own inner lives—while making space for rest, movement, ritual, reflection, and connection. Through women’s circle, herbal tea ceremony, somatic meditation, guided and freeform movement, and teachings on cyclical living, you’ll be invited to listen more closely to your body and soften into what this season is asking you to acknowledge.
You’ll leave feeling more grounded, spacious, connected, and resourced for the season ahead.
Meet Your Guides
Laura Kline-Taylor and Emma Brinkman discovered they shared Rochester roots when they met online in Red School’s Menstruality Leadership Program in 2022. Ever since, they’ve connected in person at least once annually, and whenever their lives aligned. This year, they are joining forces in a new way and are so grateful to invite you to cozy up with us as the autumn warmth wanes and the seasonal light darkens. May we too pull our energy down into our roots and ourselves.
Laura Kline-Taylor is a professional coach, mother, educator, and curator of Whole Life Studio, a leadership and development ecosystem designed to support women in leading full, impactful lives through the integration of leadership, identity, and relationships - without fragmentation.
Emma Brinkman is a somatic guide, herbalist, and women’s wellness educator and facilitator whose work centers around helping people reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies. Through herbalism, embodiment, ritual, and movement practices, she creates spaces that invite greater freedom, presence, self-trust, and aliveness.
