I have moments when I don’t want to dig deeper and see what shadow has been unconsciously driving my thoughts and actions.

I have moments when I don’t want to see my truth, I don’t want to look for beauty, I don’t want to choose joy.

I have moments when I can’t look my loved ones in the eyes because if I don’t want to love myself right now, they don’t get to love me either…

Thanks for checking out the blog, and listening to the conversation between Josephine and me. Josephine originally picked the name of this blog post and I kept it because it’s perfect! I often tell people that I will “blast them off” during a session with me.

I’m not exactly sure how I would categorize what I do. Is it reiki/energy work? Is it breathwork? Is there an element of yoga and somatic movement? Yes. The main focus is on breath. By controlling our breathing we learn to kick on our parasympathetic nervous system - our “rest and digest” system. This helps tune out our ego and tunes into our higher selves.

In this episode of The Aligned Collective, Lisa, Wendy, Adam, and Josephine discuss bravery. Being brave enough to face your fears, to believe the impossible, to trust in yourself, and how challenging it is to be brave enough to know your own self-worth. I recently got called into the principal’s office. I don’t care where you are on your soul’s journey, getting a call from your child’s principal is not going to strike joy into your heart!

There was an incident in school with one of my children and it escalated to the point where my partner and I were called in. This was a first for me; I’ve experienced my fair share of detention growing up, but never a trip to the principal’s office. School-age Josephine would have had a panic attack and frozen in absolute fear, completely unable to speak. Today-age Josephine was certainly not happy about the situation, but I am pleased to admit had a very different response.

Channeled message from Higher Self on Tuesday 12.17.24:

Allow yourself to see past the surface, into the depths of your heart. Look through the veil of noise and irritants, and see the peace within. Look past the programs, the norms, and the standards you once held yourself to, and reveal your truth.

Seek intention. Feel the heart connection within each idea, within the delivery of each word, gaze, and action. Feel the excitement, the joy that sparks under your skin. Allow yourself to feel on a deeper level, not just the sensory sensation, but the embodiment of frequencies.

Allow yourself to be guided by this embodiment.

When in doubt, disconnected, or unsure, ask yourself, “Does this serve me today?” Does this work, this action, this food, this thought, this conversation, or this relationship serve me today?

Just for today. Does this serve me?

Sometimes things don’t go the way we plan.

That’s pretty obvious, right? Maybe we can consider this a fact of life?

And when things don’t go the way we plan, it can be really easy to get caught in a spiral of negative thinking, self-shaming, disconnection, and distrust.

Have you ever experienced unexplainable wild discomfort? I’m talking about the kind of wild discomfort that feels like the ground beneath your feet is qauking and crumbling away, the walls are caving in on top of you, and you are spinning in a never ending vortex of chaos as your cells start to vibrate so fast that your body may explode and you want to claw at your skin so that this discomfort within you can escape.

Yeah, me too. I’m in it and it is so incredibly and terribly intense. AND I am so excited by it.
