Myofascial Release Yoga with Josephine

In this 75-minute yoga class, Josephine will teach you how to use movement, therapeutic balls, blankets, and yoga blocks to manipulate the muscles and fascia (connective tissue) to trigger healthy cycles of inflammation, repair, & remodeling. Think self-deep tissue massage with props!

No yoga or MFR experience is needed! Class will include some gentle movement as well as passive postures supported by props and always end with a deeply restorative rest. This is an intuitive practice! You will be guided to explore and identify with your body in new ways to create“healing maps.” Along the way, you’ll discover and treat hidden trigger points within your body that not only take your breath away but, if ignored, can cause referred pain, tightness, or stagnation.

A regular MFR practice will increase your blood and lymphatic circulation, joint range of motion, increase tissue hydration, improve flexibility, reduce muscle soreness, and restore collagen fibers and neuromuscular connections. This is a great addition to your regular body suit maintenance.
